Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Printie website and the purchase of products and services from Printie, a trading name of BRU Print and Packaging Limited ("Printie", "we", "our", or "us").

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Company Information

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

  • Customer means any individual or business purchasing products or services from Printie.
  • Products means any printed packaging, printed materials or related goods supplied by Printie.
  • Artwork means any files, designs, logos, text or images supplied by the Customer.
  • Website means Printie.co.
  • Order means any accepted quotation or confirmed purchase.

3. Eligibility

By placing an Order you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you have authority to enter into a legally binding agreement;
  • all information provided is accurate.

4. Quotations

All quotations are:

  • provided without obligation;
  • valid for 30 calendar days, unless stated otherwise;
  • subject to material availability;
  • subject to production capacity.

Prices may change after the quotation expiry date.


5. Orders

An Order is only accepted once:

  • we have confirmed acceptance in writing;
  • payment has been received (where applicable);
  • artwork has been approved.

We reserve the right to refuse any Order.


6. Pricing

Unless stated otherwise:

  • prices are shown in GBP (£);
  • VAT is charged where applicable;
  • delivery charges may be additional.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before accepting an Order.


7. Payment

Payment methods may include:

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Bank Transfer
  • Other approved payment methods

Production will not begin until payment has been received unless credit terms have been agreed in writing.

Late payments may delay production and delivery.


8. Artwork Responsibility

The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that all submitted Artwork is:

  • accurate;
  • complete;
  • correctly sized;
  • supplied in the required format;
  • free from spelling or grammatical errors;
  • compliant with applicable laws.

Printie does not automatically check Artwork for design, spelling or content errors unless this service has been specifically agreed.


9. Proof Approval

Where a digital proof is supplied, production will only commence after the Customer has approved the proof.

Once approval has been given, responsibility for any remaining errors passes to the Customer.

Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges and revised production schedules.


10. Colour Accuracy

Due to differences in printing processes, materials and display devices:

  • colours shown on screen may differ from printed results;
  • slight colour variations are considered normal;
  • exact Pantone colour matching is only available where specifically agreed.

Reasonable colour variation shall not constitute a defect.


11. Production Tolerances

The Customer acknowledges that commercial printing involves manufacturing tolerances.

Minor variations may occur, including but not limited to:

  • colour;
  • cutting;
  • creasing;
  • folding;
  • positioning;
  • finishing;
  • material texture.

Such variations are not considered manufacturing defects.


12. Customer-Supplied Artwork

The Customer warrants that:

  • they own or have permission to use all submitted Artwork;
  • the Artwork does not infringe any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights;
  • the Artwork does not contain unlawful, offensive or prohibited content.

The Customer agrees to indemnify Printie against any claims arising from submitted Artwork.


13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property relating to the Customer's Artwork remains the property of the Customer.

All website content, graphics, branding, product photography, text and designs created by Printie remain the property of Printie unless otherwise agreed.


14. Production Times

Estimated production times are provided for guidance only.

Production begins after:

  • payment;
  • artwork approval;
  • receipt of all required information.

Production schedules may vary depending on order complexity and workload.


15. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates only.

While every effort is made to meet estimated delivery dates, Printie shall not be liable for delays caused by:

  • courier companies;
  • customs clearance;
  • adverse weather;
  • strikes;
  • supplier delays;
  • force majeure events.

Risk passes to the Customer upon delivery.


16. Inspection of Goods

The Customer should inspect all goods promptly upon delivery.

Any issues relating to shortages, damage or manufacturing defects must be reported within 48 hours of receipt, supported by photographs where reasonably requested.

Failure to notify us within this period may affect our ability to investigate and resolve the issue.


17. Returns

As all Products are custom-made to the Customer's specifications, Orders cannot normally be cancelled, returned or refunded once production has begun.

Returns may only be accepted where:

  • Products are defective;
  • Products have been incorrectly manufactured due to our error;
  • Products have been damaged in transit and the damage is reported promptly.

18. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before production begins.

Where work has already commenced, Printie reserves the right to charge for work completed, materials ordered and administrative costs.


19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Printie shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses;
  • consequential losses;
  • loss of profit;
  • loss of business;
  • loss of goodwill;
  • delays beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.


20. Force Majeure

Printie shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters;
  • fire;
  • flood;
  • pandemics;
  • war;
  • industrial disputes;
  • supplier failure;
  • power failures;
  • transport disruption.

21. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


22. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • misuse the Website;
  • attempt unauthorised access;
  • upload malicious software;
  • interfere with Website operation.

We reserve the right to suspend access where misuse is suspected.


23. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time.

The latest version will always be published on our Website.


24. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
